On April 7, 2026, St. Charles County voters will decide on Prop RT, a measure that would freeze residential property taxes, which will have an impact on the quality services we receive in our County.
 

We LOVE our schools, disability resources, libraries, public safety and services in

St. Charles County! 


Prop RT does not include a reliable replacement funding source for schools, libraries, and public safety agencies that depend on property taxes. Over time, reduced revenue could impact classrooms, emergency response times, and community resources that support businesses and families.

Strong public services help keep our economy and workforce strong. If property tax changes are made, they should include a clear and sustainable funding plan.
