O'Fallon Chamber Now Offers
Electronic Document Certification

The O'Fallon Chamber has launched eCertify, an automated web-based Certificate of Origin processing service, to make life easier for hundreds of exporters and freight forwarders.

The innovative new service, provided by global trade software company eCertify, is the first solution to eliminate the cumbersome manual processes of stamping and signing, and has been endorsed by the American Chamber of Commerce Executives. Chambers have carried certification responsibility since 1923.

Certificates of Origin are mandatory to validate goods for export to most countries, however mailing or sending them via courier, or traveling to the chamber offices for manual processing has proven inefficient and costly. Through eCertify with the O'Fallon Chamber, exporters can submit their certificates electronically which will eliminate courier costs, reduce administration costs, reduce errors, improve turnaround time, and provide prompt notification of acceptance via the same electronic method.

O'Fallon Chamber members can sign up for eCertify for $25 per certificate. The non-member price is $45 per certificate. All certificates will be processed within 24 hours, between the hours of operation: 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
