Today Mitchell County Regional Health Center is a Critical Access Hospital with twenty-five beds. Over the years, many changes have taken place, from changes to the physical plant in Osage to the formation of a Physician Hospital Organization (PHO). This partnership includes Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa, Mitchell County Memorial Hospital and clinics in Osage, Riceville, St. Ansgar and Stacyville.
