Carlat Recounts Productive First Year as Mayor

Since Peoria Mayor Cathy Carlat took office last year, she has been hard at work on her list of priorities, launching initiatives aimed at creating jobs, carefully and thoughtfully planning for future growth, enhancing quality of life and bringing transparency and accountability into local government.

“I’m accountable to the people who put me in office, and I think Peoria residents ought to have the security that their elected representatives are going to do what they say they are going to do,” said Carlat.

Meet Your Members

Farmers Insurance was formed in 1928 and was built on the principle of providing affordable insurance to individuals, their families and their businesses.  After nearly 90 years we still live by those same ideals and continually work toward providing the best customer service in the industry.

While my background began in financial planning and life insurance, my clients continually asked me to handle more of their insurance needs, so I broadened my expertise into Property and Casualty insurance.  I selected Farmers as the company I wanted to represent because of their long term solid foundation.  As an insured with Farmers you know there is a quality company behind you, who will process your claim in a timely fashion and make sure you are protected under any and all circumstances.  We'll be there when you need us.

All insurance companies are basically the same, each offering a similar coverages and a multitude of discounts on the policies you buy.  Once you get past the integrity of the company the difference comes from the agent you select.  I believe that is where I separate myself from others in my field by providing you with quality service after you purchase the policy.  I am available to my clients for any problems or questions they may have throughout the year.  If you make changes to your autos, home, personal possessions or any of your “toys” I’ll be there to make sure you are protected.

If you would like a free review of your present insurance to make sure you have the proper coverage, please call me anytime at 623-252-2332 or email me at nbyers@farmersagent.com
