April 2016

President's Corner

Great things happening all over town!!

Networking Breakfast Changes
Our discussion at our networking breakfast on April 5th and formation of a committee to revitalize our breakfast’s format has been a great success.  The committee has come up with some great ideas and we will be sharing them at the next breakfast on April 19th at Trine University.  Details in the announcement in the right hand column.

Extremely sad news
Dan Schay, Executive Director of Theater Works and the Peoria Center for Performing Arts passed away suddenly last week.  It was a terrible shock to all of us who knew Dan.  The Peoria Chamber of Commerce wishes to extend our deepest sympathies to the Schay family and all of Dan’s co-workers.  Dan was a wonderful individual and his contributions to the world and all of those who knew him will be greatly missed.

Women’s Networking Group
The first meeting to organize and plan the Chamber’s new women’s networking group is scheduled for Friday 4/22 from 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Chamber office.  If you would like to be a part of forming this exciting new group, please make it a point to attend.

Event Registration
We need your help!  The Chamber staff would greatly appreciate you taking a moment to register for any events you plan to attend.  We need to know how many people are going to attend to make sure have sufficient materials and especially when we need to commit to amounts of food.  Thank you from Ashley, Ruby and Kara!

Food Truck Friday’s in Old Town Peoria
The food trucks are back in Old Town Peoria on Friday’s!  They will be there through the end of April so after work this Friday call up some friends and meet in Old Town Peoria for some great food and if you’re so inclined for an adult beverage, bring your food into Historic Fire Station Number 1 for a cold beer or one of their exceptional cocktails!

Golf Committee
Join the fun in planning this year’s Chamber Golf Tournament. Rumor has it that this year’s event will feature a 10 Million Dollar Shootout!  Ten golfers will have a chance to shoot for a hole-in-one to win a million dollars.  The next meeting is Monday 4/14 at 11:30 am at the Chamber office.  Join us and be part of something special!

Until next week…

Meet Your Members

THE OFFICE LIQUIDATOR, LLC, was founded in 2012 by Chuck Re, Owner and President. We are located at 8550 North 91st Avenue, in Peoria, Arizona – between Northern and Olive, on the west side of 91st Avenue.

Our company began working with Fortune 500 companies, across America, in helping them upsize, downsize or just right size their office operations.  We arranged to dispose of excess furnishings, helped them acquire new furnishings and coordinate their office relocations.

We expanded into the Phoenix metro area two years ago and do the same valley wide.  We have a showroom on 91st Avenue that cater to local small to medium sized business, students and home office needs.

We are also in the process of decommissioning two floors of high quality office furnishings on behalf of BMO/Harris Bank, One Camelback Plaza, SEC of Camelback and Central Avenue in Phoenix.

Although we have sold quite a bit already, there are fantastic bargains still available.  We have until the end of April to complete the liquidation.
