Revolu Modern Taqueria Receives
Peoria Mayor's Award
Mayor Carlat is joined by Jeremiah Gracia,
Owner of Revolu Modern Taqueria.
Mayor Cathy Carlat is proud to announce and award Revolu Modern Taqueria as the Mayor's Restaurant of the Month for November 2017.
Having been open for nearly a year, Revolu Modern Taqueria - located just south of the Peoria Sports Complex in the trendy P83 District - has quickly become one of the most popular restaurants within the City of Peoria.
Born and raised in San Diego, self-described "workaholic" and owner, Chef Jeremiah Gracia brings with him 25 years of fine dining experience. Gracia's love of Mexican street fare developed at a young age, through his frequent visits with family to Tijuana, Mexico, where food was crafted with only the freshest of ingredients and offered on most street corners.
Today, Gracia has transformed this love into a restaurant concept that modernizes traditional Mexican street food - all in a welcoming environment, where servers know your name, and your drink of choice. Revolu brings the vibrant colors of Mexico and the authentic smells and tastes of fresh, made from scratch dishes in a contemporary life form, which Gracia describes as a "food truck without the wheels - on steroids."
Since opening, Revolu has seen great success and there is no doubt their diverse menu of unique, yet authentic food and drink options will keep their customers returning. To learn more about Revolu Modern Taqueria, visit
