We are taking our second Youth ChangeMaker Summit expansion to Peoria and connecting West Valley high school students to our Arizona entrepreneurial community! When: April 5-7 Where: MET Professional Academy Youth ChangeMaker Summit is a 3-day introduction for high school students to the Arizona entrepreneurial community. Business leaders in our community guide high school students to change the world through venture creation. To create the Arizona we want, we must empower all students to actively engage in our community and build solutions to the problems they experience every day. During the weekend, students imagine, plan and pitch a business solution that will set the foundations for a better future for Arizona. We at CO+HOOTS Foundation are excited to announce that we just moved to a municipal focus for these events so that we can demonstrate the great support that Peoria businesses have for Peoria students. Register Your Student Now Volunteers Needed for Youth Changemaker Program!!! Looking for a great volunteer opportunity? YCMS Human Resource Needs the following Volunteers Mentors--adults with a concentration in one of the following fields who are willing to spend 1 or 2 days 9am--4pm supporting students. These adults would commit to a 2-hour training on Friday evening and either 1 or 2 other days that weekend. Fields: · Operations/Admin · Sales/Bizdev · Finance · Software Development/Design/UX · Social Media/Marketing Volunteers interested in 4-hours shifts.
