IN LOVING MEMORY - CHARLES (CHUCK) STRANGE
It is with our deepest sympathy to inform you of the passing of a long time and valued Peoria Chamber Member, Charles (Chuck) Strange. Please take a moment to read the following message from his family.
IN LOVING MEMORY
Charles (Chuck) Strange passed on to his next adventure 02-13-2020 in the arms of"the love of his life" of 25 years Rosie. Chuck was an active member of the Peoria Chamber for 15+ years. He served on the Board of Directors and wore many hats for the Chamber. He recently received the lifetime Achievement award from the Surprise Chamber for his service. Chuck also served many organizations and charities , he was very proud to be on the committee of the Rio Veterans Memorial Wall. Chuck served his country proudly for 21 years in the United States Army, was active in the Military Affairs Committee and loved to volunteer at Luke Air Force Base.
He will be greatly missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held in his honor. Details below.

LEADERSHIP LUNCH & LEARN
The Lunch and Learn program in Peoria Unified is a site-based mentoring program for community members to be a positive role in a students life. The purpose of this program is to provide elementary schools students with a mentor who encourages a positive view of education, personal growth, and a positive role model.
We are looking for 15 Peoria Chamber Members
You will meet with the student for ONE lunch per month
1-2 Hours per month
This will start next school year - August 2020 - May 2021

MEET YOUR MEMBER...
Brandon Bettis is a financial advisor focused on comprehensive financial planning. He focuses on developing comprehensive financial planning with designs, ideas, and strategies to help achieve client’s goals and objectives. Brandon has a passion for building relationships with his clients and helping them reach their goals.
He was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Justice Studies from Arizona State University (GO DEVILS!) After graduation, Brandon received his commission as an Infantry Officer in the United States Army. He served 10 years on active duty, a career that included a deployment to Afghanistan, Company Command and planning missions for the President in The Old Guard. His awards and decorations include a Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, and Parachute Badge. Brandon is still a Major in the United States Army Reserves and is a Detachment Commander for the Selective Service System, in charge of 1/2 the state of Arizona.
Brandon is the Chairman of the Peoria Chamber Military Affairs Committee (MAC). In this role, he helps serve the city of Peoria and the West Valley by assisting veteran owned businesses, servicemembers, veterans, and their families. The MAC does this through advocacy, outreach, mentorship, and building relationships with various veteran service organizations. He also volunteers with the Fiesta Bowl, Bunker Labs, Military Order of World Wars, and he is on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Veterans Chamber Foundation.
Brandon lives in Peoria with his wife Erin. They have 2 beautiful daughters, Whitney and Kennedy. Brandon loves camping with his family, attending ASU football games, and Arizona Coyotes games.
