is a community nonprofit organization, and since 1971 we have been providing a broad spectrum of services to help individuals and families in crisis. In 2019 we served 26,973 residents across the Valley. Our Mission: Helping Families . . . Changing Lives.
Vulnerable individuals and families receive emergency help and life-changing programs for a new start – transforming their lives to become thriving members of the community. Their successes include employment, healthier lifestyles, high school diplomas / GEDs, college degrees, life skills and proud self-sufficiency.
A New Leaf is a recognized leader in crisis and family services with 30+ program sites Valley wide – from foster care to behavioral health and primary care services to financial literacy, sheltering, domestic violence shelters and assistance, housing support and early childhood education.
Additionally, A New Leaf . . . .
- Serves 182,000 meals annually
- Provides 76,000 nights of shelter annually
- Hosts 12,000 counseling sessions annually

2021 First Responder's Charity Golf Tournament

City of Peoria Small Business Emergency Loan Program
The city of Peoria cares deeply about its business community and has developed several programs to provide much-needed financial support to small businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Coming in July, Peoria businesses can apply for the City of Peoria Small Business Emergency Loan Program and/or the City of Peoria Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Small Business Assistance Grant Program.

Recent Executive Actions and Extensions
Governor Ducey's Actions To Contain COVID-19
as of July 23rd
Governer Ducey has announced:
The extension pausing certain business operations has been continued.
This order was originally effective at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 29, 2020, and the following establishments have paused operations until August 6, 2020.
- Bars with a series 6 or 7 liquor license from the Department of Liquor Licenses and Control (these entities may provide take-out and curbside service);
- Indoor gyms and fitness clubs or centers;
- Indoor movie theaters;
- Water parks;
- And tubing operators.
These operation pauses will be reviewed on a biweekly basis.

During this challenging time we sought to offer complimentary access to outstanding content, people, and events. As a non-member, we hope you enjoyed meeting us and the relationships we have built.
