Zona Wyyerd

is based in parts of Peoria, Surprise and Buckeye.  Zona Wyyerd provides high-speed Internet and telephone over their fiber network. The company was initially formed in 1995 to serve Lake Pleasant and surrounding rural areas. As metro Phoenix grew toward the Northwest, Zona began serving new subdivisions and has been one of the fastest growing independent telecom providers in the United States.

Zona Wyyerd's formula for success rests on two principles: superior technology and excellent customer service. The company was an early adopter of world-class broadband via fiber-to-the-home networks with their first deployment in 2004. Local technical support and customer service teams keep vigilant watch over the customer base to make certain that our users’ broadband experience is second to none. Packaging superior technology and excellent customer service with competitive service pricing makes Zona Wyyerd the clear choice for broadband telecom services.

Expanding Support and Grants

From the Office of Governer Ducey:

"Expanding Support For Arizona Small Businesses

The Governor’s Office is partnering with Local First Arizona Foundation to launch the Arizona Small Business Rent and Mortgage Relief Grant program. The partnership, which includes $10 million from the Crisis Contingency and Safety Net Fund, leverages the grant making experience and small business expertise at Local First Arizona to quickly and prudently help small business owners meet their rent and mortgage obligations.

The grant program will provide grants for up to two months of rent or mortgage payments due by small businesses including gyms, fitness centers, bars, and water parks with fewer than 50 employees. The maximum award will be $25,000. Grants will be prioritized for businesses that are most in need of the funding to meet their rent or mortgage obligations and do not have access to other financial support.

The Arizona Small Business Rent and Mortgage Relief Grant program may be expanded by any city or county government with funds available to dedicate to the program. Interested governments may dedicate funds to the program that would then be granted to eligible small businesses within their jurisdictions. Additional details are available at www.localfirstaz.com/azsmallbizrent

Phased Reopening Plan for Paused Industries

Arizona Department Of Health Services Phased Reopening Plan For Paused Industries
(Information taken from Newsroom of Governer Ducey - Press Release)

The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) announced public health recommendations for the eventual safe reopening of paused businesses in the state of Arizona.

If you are, or if you represent, a business closed by EO 2020-43, please refer to this linked press release

According to the most recent two-week review, ADHS advised keeping restrictions in place for the time being, but has provided the following benchmarks for industry leaders and businesses to understand when a general reopening may be considered. Businesses have the opportunity through the attestation process for review of individual circumstances in the event that they are denied the ability to reopen for public health reasons.

Benchmarks and Phased Reopenings
(Select images to enlarge)

Upon reopening, all industries must submit an attestation form stating they are in compliance. The attestation form shall be posted in a visible location at the facility. Additional details can be found in the ADHS COVID-19 Guidance for Businesses.

Please refer to this linked press release for more information.
