Mutual of America Financial Group

Hello Chamber Members:

My name is Matthew Gromek, you can call me Matt. I am a retirement plan consultant with over 12 years of experience working with employers to maximize 401(k), 403(b), and many other retirement benefits for their employees. For the past 12 years I have worked with various retirement plan providers, company sponsored retirement plans, and participants. My specialties are plan design, provider arrangements, and plan level cost analysis. I live in Peoria with my wife, two daughters, two dogs, and a tortoise named Flip. I work with companies all over the southwest and I’m hopeful, I’ll be able to add value to neighbors and business owners here in the west valley. Ask me anything retirement plan related, and I would be glad to help.

I have worked for Mutual of America Financial Group for the past four years. I maintain employer sponsored retirement plans through Mutual of America’s full-service retirement plan offering.  I’m basically a retirement plan quarterback with a years of industry knowledge.

From its founding in 1945, Mutual of America has been at the forefront of the developments that have enhanced retirement, from defined contribution plans to electronic recordkeeping systems, and much more. We help clients offer a more valuable retirement benefit not just in contributions, assets, and payouts. While these elements are vital, just as important are the value the plan brings to its participants and the advantages that make the plan easier to administer.

Arrowhead Lake Pleasant Fit Body Boot Camp

Hello! My name is Kelly Sullens and my husband Thomas and I, own Arrowhead and Lake Pleasant Fit Body Boot Camp. I’m overjoyed to become an active member with the Peoria Chamber of Commerce as a business owner and health advocate! I’d like to take a quick moment to tell you a little more about who I am, how we came to be business owners and what my focus is.

With health and fitness being a big part of my life since I was little, I realize the importance of being and staying physically and mentally healthy as we age. It’s my mission to change lives and make even the smallest impact on our community to help keep us all healthy and happy for the long run.

I began my journey as a Group Personal Trainer in California 8 years ago. This is where I found a true passion for helping others through health and fitness. I hold a degree from the University of La Verne with a BS in Business Management and coupled with my love to help change lives, my husband and I took the leap to turn our passion into a business. 5 years ago, we sold our home and quit our day jobs in California and relocated here to Arizona where we opened our first location, Arrowhead Fit Body Boot Camp, in September of 2016.

Over the past 5 years of being in business with our Arrowhead location, we introduced our son Nixon into the world, along with opening our second location, Lake Pleasant Fit Body Boot Camp here in Peoria in early February of 2020. We are blessed to have survived the Pandemic at both of our locations and we couldn’t have done it without strong support from our members and community. I’d like to return the favor by pouring my commitment and love into our community of residents and other businesses, by being an advocate for YOUR health and happiness! I’m excited for this next chapter and I look forward to helping guide our focus to the wellbeing of our entire community. Cheers!
