The Military Affairs Committee (MAC) is here to serve the city of Peoria and the West Valley by assisting veteran owned businesses, active duty, reserve, and national guard service members, future military service members, veterans and their families. This will be achieved by focusing on advocacy, outreach, mentorship, building relationships, transition and hiring programs, and encouraging community involvement and development.

What to Expect
1. Check in for your appointment.
2. Meet with trained staff to complete health screening and questionnaire.
3. Donor care specialist will review results and determine the best way for you to donate.
4. Specialist will clean an area on your arm and insert a sterile needle to begin.
5. You will then complete the whole blood donation process, which can take up to 15 minutes (usually 1O).
6. Enjoy light refreshments to replenish fluids and nutrients.
7. You’re done! Feel proud knowing you’ve saved up to three lives, and encourage friends and family to donate!

Join us as we reintroduce our In-Person Networking Breakfast at Mochilero Kitchen on June 1st from 7:30-9:00am. We will begin our event with Networking an Introductions to connect with all of our members that we have missed seeing in person. We will then have the the City of Peoria Economic Development team join us and speak to us about the resources and business assistance they offer.

Sunset Cruise With City Leaders 6/3
Join us, June 3rd for a Sunset Cruise around Lake Pleasant with our City Leaders.
We will take a 1.5 hour sunset cruise around Lake Pleasant and network with our city leaders and business community. You will enjoy an evening of cruise activities like trivia, dancing, open bar, towel folding, delectable cuisines, and more!
This is a fun networking opportunity to socialize with our city leaders and chamber members while enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Pleasant.
