About Wylie Walleye Foundation
Wylie Walleye Foundation was created as the parent organization for the treasured annual event The Walleye Drop. As the event became more successful, a formal organization structure was required to manage the growth and increasing demand for our volunteers time and resources. In 2016, the board voted to rename the organization from Walleye Madness at Midnight to Wylie Walleye Foundation and established our current mission.
Our mission is to educate families and youth on the western basin of Lake Erie, by promoting our natural resources through community involvement.
The board is devoted to growing our number one fundraiser, The Walleye Drop, to support activities furthering our mission to include donations to area nonprofit organizations, educating the public on the western basin of Lake Erie and encouraging economic growth in our areas off-season tourism industry.
