About Ottawa County Health Dept.

The Ottawa County Health Department's mission is "working to protect, promote, and improve the health of citizens and our environment."

The Nursing Division provides various home visiting services to Ottawa County residents such as Home Health. Nursing services are also provided in a clinic setting at the health department and several satellite sites around Ottawa County. These services are numerous and examples include Immunization Clinic and Family Planning Clinic.

The Environmental Health Division is responsible for operational permits, licensing and inspections. This division handles requests regarding investigations of water and sewage systems, nuisances and other health services.

The Clerical Division maintains all records, supports each division and responds to inquiries from the public.
