Hours of OperationRecruitment for the upcoming PAL class takes place from February through May each year. Class size is limited to 20 members, so submitting your application as soon as possible during the recruitment period is encouraged.

PAL is a one-year program that enables participants to acquire effective leadership skills, explore critical community issues, interact with leaders in the greater Prescott area, and become part of a network of more than 300 PAL graduates who are involved in shaping
the quality of life in the Prescott area. Key elements of the program are described below.

A core value of leadership is working within a team. Our program begins with a two-day retreat emphasizing team building skills and sets the pace for subsequent training. Topics include Servant Leadership and Leading by Strengths.
Leadership Education Days
One day a month the class comes together for a morning devoted to leadership skills training. The afternoon is centered on some of our most important regional issues. Obtain a comprehensive perspective of our communities from business and community leaders while participating in interactive discussions and exercises.

**Earn College Credit! – Creative Leadership is taught in partnership with the Fast-Track Management Program at Yavapai College. PAL class members attending all four Creative Leadership sessions receive one credit toward the 3-credit Fast-Track Leadership certification.

Shadowing is all about learning leadership from other leaders. This is your opportunity to spend a day with community leaders whose leadership style would benefit you most.
Enjoy learning first hand about our communities through field trips. You and your class members decide where you would learn the most by visiting area businesses, museums, parks.
