Casey Whitmarsh, State Farm Agent Sponsors SFCC Student Scholarship
Lorton, VA – The South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce (SFCC) is proud to announce that Casey Whitmarsh is the official sponsor of a SFCC College/University Scholarship, reinforcing its commitment to workforce development and education.
The SFCC provides scholarships to deserving high school seniors pursuing higher education at either a four-year college/university or a trade school. Students have the opportunity to win a $500 scholarship to support their educational goals. The scholarships will be awarded at the Chamber's Annual Achievement Honors Gala on May 8, 2025.

The SFCC College/University Scholarship is proudly sponsored by Casey Whitmarsh, a dedicated State Farm® Insurance Agent with over 20 years of experience in helping individuals, families, and businesses secure their financial future. A Fairfax County resident since 2003, Casey is deeply committed to the local community and serves as the Chair of the South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce.

Scholarship Eligibility
Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:
Must reside in one of the following school districts: South County, Hayfield, West Springfield, Lake Braddock, WT Woodson, Edison, or Robinson.
Must live in one of the following communities: Lorton, Newington, Mason Neck, Springfield, Burke, Fairfax, Annandale, Mount Vernon, Fairfax Station, Alexandria, or Clifton.
Must submit a completed online application, including an essay (up to 700 words).
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 and submit a transcript.
Applications must be received by April 15, 2025.
