About Us

Established in 2012, the Common Good Community Foundation is a non-profit, public benefit corporation designed to support and encourage programs and projects within Plumas County related, but not limited to, the arts, education, senior services, health care and animal welfare.

We award scholarships to local high school students and provide grants to worthwhile non-profit organizations within Plumas County. To date, the foundation has awarded scholarships and grants in excess of $135,000 throughout local Plumas County communities.

The foundation partners with donors to ensure their gifts are distributed as specified and have maximum benefit within the communities we serve. The foundation offers donors personalized service and maximum tax advantage according to state and federal law.

We also offer various ways to give so that donors can invest in the causes they care about most. The foundation's goal is to make sure donations are used as donors specify for the good of the community. We keep our operating expenses to a minimum, with over 95% of donations invested in the community in the form of grants and scholarships.

Please join us in investing in our local Plumas County communities.
