Protect Yourself While Traveling Plumas Bank Summer travel season is here! Plumas Bank and the National Cyber Security Alliance reminds us all to be cautious when connecting to public Wi-Fi hot spots at airports, hotels, cafes, restaurants and more. Open Wi-Fi hot spots are difficult to secure because anyone can connect to them without any sort of authentication. This gives cybercriminals greater avenues of attack. Please be cybersafe during your summer travels. Stay Secure On Public Wi-Fi When Traveling - https://loom.ly/zigXHoU Car Seat Safety REMSA 3 car seat safety tips 1. Select the right seat based on height, age and weight. 2. Keep the seat rear-facing for as long as possible - usually until the child is at least two. 3. Ensure the seat is installed tightly. Still not sure if you've got it right? Point of Impact was launched in 1998 as a community outreach program for REMSA Health volunteers to inspect and properly install more than 300 car seats each year. Make an appointment by visiting https://bit.ly/3yYbvOX today. Tollgate Trail Extended Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship Fresh fish! We've added another mile to the Tollgate Trail, now connecting it to Rinehart Meadows. This increases the trail to more than 4 miles in total. By adding the upper section of Mount Hough Trail above Rhinehart, you get an amazing 10 miles of descent from the top! There's a cool little section on the new trail that the Crew is calling "The Snake Pit" for some added fun and a beautifully flowing creek crossing. Great views to be had and an alternate drop to consider on a double Mount Hough shuttle day. Book through Yuba Expeditions, get the trail info from the shop guys and get out there to enjoy some new tracks. The trail is brand spankin' new and it's a bit loose (needs a few rains), so take your time and enjoy the scenery. Highway 70 Update Caltrans District 2 STATE ROUTE 70 UPDATE: Crews are continuing to remove material on State Route 70 in the Feather River Canyon, west of Belden, following significant debris flows at Murphy and Opapee Creeks last month. Motorists should continue to expect 24/7 traffic control in the area, with up to 30-minute delays, Monday through Saturday during daytime hours. Delays of 10-15 minutes can be expected during overnight hours and on Sundays. Slope, roadways, and drainage work will also continue in the area.
