Suggest a Theme for the 2023 Plumas Sierra County Fair

Plumas Sierra County Fairgrounds

In case you haven't heard, we are asking the community for suggestions on a theme for the 2023 Plumas Sierra County Fair, July 27-30. In fact, whoever suggests the winning theme will get a Family weeklong pass to the fair and one Golden Ticket for the carnival. Try to make it something that relates to our fair and keep it short. Oh yeah, make it original too. You can mail or drop off your suggestion to 204 Fairground Rd. in Quincy, or you can email it to johnsteffanic@countyofplumas.com before April 14. Let's have some fun with this!

You have one week to plan and prepare your bread entry for our Best of Plumas Bread Competition! Remember, it can be any kind of bread; sourdough, banana, wheat, flat, zucchini or...whatever. You can start bringing in your entry at 4pm on Tuesday, April 4 at the Fair Office. The winner gets a rosette, a personalized plaque and a $100 gift card from our sponsor; Sav Mor Foods. After this, there is only one more competition, and that will be meatloaf! BY THE WAY; we know the flyer says to take it to the Tulsa Scott Pavilion, but don't do that since no one will be there. Bring your entries to the Fair Office by the front gate of the fairgrounds. Thanks and good luck!
