Concert on the Green Feather River College FRC Concert on the Green - featuring local band, MacGroover! The annual FRC Concert on the Green is back again on Thurs, Aug 24 at 5:30pm. This year will feature a local group of musicians known as "MacGroover". This event is FREE and open to the whole campus and Quincy community! Join us on the lower green and bring your dancing shoes, as this band is known for its funky grooves. There will be a free dinner for students and dinner available for all other attendees to purchase while supplies last. This is a great opportunity to enjoy some free live music, mix and mingle with students and staff, and destress from the first week of the semester. See you on the FRC green on Thursday, everyone! Try Something Different This Weekend Feather River Food Co-op As we near the end of summer, we only have two more clean-up dates remaining at each location for our Adopt A Highway program. Our success would not have been possible without the dedicated efforts of our exceptional volunteer liaisons, Carla Hamilton from Quincy and Will Mckie from Portola. They lead 5-6 clean-up events from April to September, managing teams of residents from Plumas-Sierra County to collect 4-6 bags of waste which maintains clean roads and streams. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to keeping our communities clean.
