Order online at https://order.rezku.com/leonandroys Meeting with Congressman Kevin Kiley Quincy Chamber of Commerce We had the pleasure of attending a meeting hosted by the Lost Sierra Chamber of Commerce with Congressman Kevin Kiley at Nakoma Resort on Tuesday, September 5th. Many topics were discussed including unaffordable homeowner's insurance premiums, lack of funding for first responders, lack of funding for tourism support, housing shortages, and more. Thanks to the attendees representing a large swath of residents and business owners, Congressman Kiley left with a multiple-page list of of concerns. College & Career Fair Feather River College College & Career Fair is on Sept 11 at FRC! FRC will once again host the annual College & Career Fair for 11th and 12th grade students from Plumas and Sierra County service areas, as well as current FRC students. The fair will take place on the field in front of the Allied Health/Nursing parking lot on campus on September 11 from 9:30a - 1:00p. This is an opportunity to speak with college and career representatives to gather information to help plan for life after graduation, and will feature an inspirational keynote speaker. Rethink Industries This first mission was easy for me, which stemmed from excellent training and education, helpful and loving mentors, and working with diverse and complex cases and facilities throughout my career. The second piece of this mission was and has been the single most challenging component of my career so far. The mission was clear and straightforward to create. However, putting this concept into practice increased the challenges of being a business owner, and it has been challenging to implement based on the complexity created in the office dynamic. It has been a steep learning curve for me as an employer as this is something I had never seen modeled, nor did I have any experience as an employer, supervisor, or business owner when I began my business.
