George Washington Carver Guild.

George Washington Carver Guild (“The Guild”) is a non-profit organization created to benefit George Washington Carver School of Arts and Sciences.

All Carver parents, teachers, and staff are members of the Guild. We enthusiastically welcome your participation in Guild monthly meetings, committee meetings, projects, and events.

Teenagers are naturally curious, constantly exploring the world around them and their place within it. As they transition from childhood to adolescence, their questions evolve, reflecting a growing need for deeper understanding and self-discovery. At Carver High School, our mission is to guide students through this transformative period by fostering intellectual growth, personal development, and a strong sense of purpose. Our educational approach goes beyond preparing students for standardized tests; it is designed to cultivate independent thought, critical analysis, and creative problem-solving. Through a rigorous curriculum, students engage in academic inquiry, developing the skills necessary to contribute meaningfully to their communities and future careers.

To realize this vision, Carver High School emphasizes the development of 21st-century skills, integrating critical thinking, creativity, and environmental stewardship into a comprehensive college-preparatory program. Our curriculum weaves together academic rigor and artistic expression, encouraging students to explore diverse perspectives and discover their unique strengths. Over four years, Carver students embark on a journey of intellectual and personal growth, emerging as confident, socially responsible individuals prepared to navigate an ever-changing world.
