Since its inception, Fite Development Company has helped build, lease and manage more than five (5) million square feet of industrial, office and commercial space. Additionally, they have developed more than 1,500 residential lots. Early on the firm perfected its own simple formula for success: Buy large tracts of unzoned land on the perimeter of the areas presently being built out, obtain zoning for mixed uses, then construct speculative buildings or "build-to-suits". This method of development enabled Fite Development Company to bring the community users to occupy factories, canning plants, mobile home parks, regional malls, strip centers, roller and ice skating rinks, movie theaters, auto dealerships, distribution centers, multi-tenant and Class A office parks.

By 1998, the Fite Development Company was managing approximately two (2) million square feet and owning or controlling more than 1000 acres of vacant land in Sacramento and Stockton areas.
