Mt. Hood Hospice, established in 1980, was born out of a heartfelt commitment to support individuals in the final stages of life. For over four decades, we have been a steadfast provider of compassionate care and bereavement support to families in Multnomah and Clackamas Counties. As a not-for-profit, free-standing, independent, community-based hospice, we pride ourselves on our dedication to enhancing the quality of life for our patients, ensuring they experience comfort, dignity, and choice during this crucial time.
As the first free-standing hospice in Oregon to receive Medicare certification in 1987, Mt. Hood Hospice has consistently met the evolving standards set by CMS regulations. Despite these changes, we remain unwavering in our original mission to deliver the highest quality care. Our experienced staff offers comprehensive physical, emotional, spiritual, and bereavement care, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and their loved ones.
