About Us

My name is Chad Clanton, owner of ThermaSpect Inspection Services, a home and commercial inspection firm located in Stewart County, Tennessee. I'm a veteran of the Army's 82nd Airborne Division (sorry all you Screaming Eagles out there, I love you guys too! ;-), and moved with my family to Stewart County in 2020. Having built my first house with my father during summer break when I was 13, and over 50 more before joining the Army in 2001, I resumed work within the construction field as a home inspector in San Antonio in 2015. During that time I conducted more than 2,000 independent inspections. But that's enough about me, here's a little about what we do. 

We include whole home thermal imaging with all of our inspections, allowing us to see variations in surface temperatures anywhere throughout the home. This is fantastic for identifying active water leaks, air gaps, missing insulation, and a variety of other potential issues. We also include a FREE security assessment with every inspection; some homeowners insurance providers offer premium discounts, often ranging from 5-20%, with the installation of a security system and/or just a few simple (usually inexpensive) security upgrades. We provide this service in an effort to inform and assist our clients in identifying and taking advantage of these discounts (we are in no way associated with or compensated by insurance or security companies for this service, so no worries about conflicts of interest there; we just do it because it helps!)

We provide inspections for purchase and sale of property, as well as phased construction inspections, home warranty and annual maintenance inspections (these last two offer payment plans if scheduled in advance!). Give us a call and find out how we can help you!
