Akron Treatment Services provides safe, outpatient medication-assisted treatment and counseling for drug addiction to help patients and their families reclaim their lives and future.

We offer medication-assisted treatment with methadone and general outpatient treatment services in Akron, Ohio. Treatment is individualized based on a clinical assessment of each patients needs. Our General Outpatient Treatment (OP) program uses methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) to treat opioid use disorders. Men and women receive treatment plans including individual and group therapy, education classes on substance use disorders, 12-step, SMART Recovery, and psychoeducational programming. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), grief/loss therapy, mindfulness, relapse prevention, and life skills training offered. Specialized programs for the LGBTQ+ community. Medicaid and private insurance benefits accepted.
