Intermountain's Mobile Mammography

It’s never been easier to get a mammogram
when we bring specialists to you.

Women should have an annual mammography beginning at age 40 — and should
continue screening for as long as they’re healthy. Breast cancer is not only treatable, it’s
curable if it’s caught early enough.

On May 11 and May 12, 2021,
Intermountain’s confidential mobile mammogram facility will be at:

CLYDE RECREATION CENTER
717 S. 1200 W.
Springville

Starting with a 30-minute screening, successful detection, treatment, and cure
have never been better. To learn more, or to schedule an appointment:
Call: 1 (833) 626-6646
Visit: IntermountainHealthcare.org/MobileMammo

Volunteer Opportunity

Kiwanis Club Scones

The Kiwanis Scone Booth will be happening Wednesday-Saturday during Art City Days. Volunteers are needed!!!

This is a great service opportunity to help raise funds that benefit the children and youth in Springville; 100% of the proceeds stay in Springville.

There will be 3 hour shifts all 4 days that volunteers can sign up for. A sign up spreadsheet will be forthcoming. If anyone is interested, they can contact Gina Woolf at kngwoolf@gmail.com or (801) 491-8452.

New Article

Welcome Patrick Monney

Patrick Monney is the newest addition to the Springville City administration. As we say "goodbye" to Rod Oldroyd and thank him for his many years of service, we welcome Patrick Monney, hired to fill the opened position. We are excited to have Patrick join Springville City and become a part of the Springville-Mapleton Chamber of Commerce board.

Patrick has a long history in community service, business structuring, and management. In 2019 he won a spot on the Springville City Council, but he couldn't pass it up when his dream job came available. He continues to serve the citizens of Springville, just in a different capacity. We want to welcome Patrick and look forward to building a stronger chamber together.

Board of Directors Spotlight

Sara Harvey - Membership Committee

We want to introduce you to Sara Harvey, membership chair. Sara and her husband, Brent, own and operate Spring Creek Mechanical. Many of you have probably seen the great videos Sara posts on her Facebook page teaching homeowners tips and tricks about heating and air.
Sara and Brent are actively involved in the community, business networking opportunities, and they have both been active members of the Chamber for many years. Sara wanted to share her ideas and skills with the chamber so she applied for a board position last year and is using her skills and talents to help grow our chamber. We are happy to have Sara on board and introduce her to all of you.

If you have membership questions or know someone who would benefit from the chamber membership contact Sara, Membership Committee Chair. She also works with our Social Media & Marketing Committee Chair, Leslie Jones, to keep our social media up-to-date.

We hope you get to know Sara more throughout the year and reach out with any questions.
