Springville Library

Newcomers Club & Summer Reading Projects- Help Needed

The Springville Library is hosting several projects and is seeking help from businesses.
One of their first projects is their "Summer Reading" for adult patrons. They will be handing out cups at the end of the summer, end of July, filled with various goodies donated by local businesses.

The second project is their "Newcomers Club" for people who are new to the area. It is an invitation to people new to the area to visit the library and get acquainted with library, staff and the city. They are giving attendees a small "Welcome to Springville" gift that encourages them to try out local places.

If you would like to give swag or anything representing your business to be included in these kits you can contact Brittanie Turner, Adult & Digital Services Librarian, at bturner@springville.org or call 801.491.7825.

The Newcomers Club Schedule (the third Saturday of each month):
  • May 15th @ 1 PM
  • June 19th @ 1 PM
  • July 17th @ 1 PM
  • August 21st @ 1 PM

Art City Days Chamber Booth

Springville Youth Council Caring Kits Fundraiser

During Art City Days the Chamber has a booth where kids will drop their Business BINGO cards off to be collected for the drawing. The Springville Youth Council man the booth and help collect the cards every year. This year we are all changing it up a bit. The youth have decided to make greater use of this time at the booth. They have reached out to Police and Fire and found a need for care kits. These kits are given to families/kids from the First Responders when they arrive on scene and notice a child that may need comfort. The youth are raising money to make 50 kits to give to the Springville police and fire. They are hoping to raise $500 to start this great project. As a "thank you" they will be handing out buttons that they are making. Stop by the Chamber booth and support our local youth with this great fundraising event.

How it works...

"Your Website Statistics" Update

Chamber Nation has been working hard to get everyone's site up and running on the Springville-Mapleton Chamber Online Marketplace. Many of you have received emails saying "Your Website Statistics," and are probably confused. The email says "giving you the most recent stats for your site." Don't worry about those right now. It will all make sense soon.
Chamber Nation is working hard on finishing a few things. As soon as they are finished we will send out more information and training so that each of you will be able to maintain your site on the Marketplace. We are very excited and hope you are too. This is part of our exciting upgrade and huge benefit to your chamber membership.

Check out the Online Marketplace here: https://admin.docu.team/welcome.php?association=471
