Email Melanie to get added to the list. We will need 130 pieces by September 16th.

Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities

We are excited to start having more advertising opportunities available. The sponsorships will give sponsors the opportunity to advertise at events and spotlight your business during events. If you are interested in learning more about these futures spots email us at info@springvilleutahchamber.org

Board Spotlight

Lana Hiskey

Lana H. Hiskey
Communications and Community Relations Coordinator
Nebo School District
July 2021

Lana Hiskey has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Springville-Mapleton Chamber since 2002. Previously, Mrs. Hiskey taught marketing and business classes at Springville High and appreciated all the businesses that mentored and allowed field trips for Springville’s business students. Lana is currently the Communications and Community Relations Coordinator and the Nebo Education Foundation Executive Director for Nebo School District and has served in both positions since 2002.

As the Communications and Community Relations Coordinator, Lana Hiskey is the spokesperson for over 34,000 students and 4,500 employees in Nebo School District. She has produced thousands of articles for three daily newspapers, a weekly newspaper, a monthly newspaper, four television stations and various radio stations as well as managed social media.

Hiskey oversees media relations, district publications, the district’s website articles, district newsletters and e-newsletters, social media and media relations training for administrators and employees. She was aired in commercials for radio and television and taught public speaking and interviewing.

Lana said, “I love being a part of this wonderful community where I taught business classes and my own children and grandchildren attend schools. I would love to give back in any way and help our business community thrive.”

Mrs. Hiskey was recently selected as a national presenter at the National School Public Relations Association and has presented at the State School Board’s training and the Utah School Public Relations Association. Nebo School District has received recognition for Nebo’s school public relations program in the state.

One of Lana’s favorite assignments is recognizing employees for PEAK (Positive, Energy, And Kindness) Awards and awarding funding grants to teachers and students. “I love celebrating all the amazing things happening across the Nebo School District!” exclaimed Lana.

Her daughter, Shalee, who graduated in Public Relations and Communications said, “Mom is one of the most kind-hearted and giving people I know. She is always willing to help others and puts them before herself. Mom looks for the tender mercies of life each and every day and that is what helps her to find true happiness in her life.”

Join us at a Ribbon Cutting

Nebo School District invited you to join them at the Ribbon Cuttings for the 2021 Middle Schools.
Monday, August 16
Spring Canyon Middle School at 9:00 a.m. and Maple Grove Middle School at 11:00 a.m.

Congratulations on the Ribbon Cutting

Bold Gymnastics' had a huge outpour of community support at their Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting last weekend. Participants enjoyed Olympic Games events like crafts, performances, and gymnastics.

Bold Gymnastics' is dedicated to staff training, detailed curriculum, and up-to-date equipment, in a fun & safe environment, teaching our four guiding principles,

PROGRESS - We offer a growth-mindset approach to sports and academics, celebrating progress over perfection.

RESILIENCE - We promote the unique skill of turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones, emotional intelligence and the human ability to “fail” forward.

ADVENTURE - We believe the journey offers as much enjoyment as the destination, encouraging goal-setting strategies, new experiences and fun.

COMMUNITY - We know there is more to sports than physical development, and honor the friendships and community that are an intrical part of the gymnastics, ninja, tumbling, and cheer experience.
