Jason Packard was born in 1980 to Matt and Louann Packard. He grew up in Springville graduated from Springville High School in 1998. Afterwords, he attended Utah Valley University and earned his degree in General Business. In 2013, he received an advanced certification in banking from the Pacific Coast Banking School located in Washington.
He began working at Central Bank as a teenager, spending hours alone in the Springville Office basement shredding sensitive bank documents. He officially began his career at the bank as a teller in 2000 and throughout the years has worked in multiple rolls. Today he's the Executive Vice President, a member of the board of directors, and also managing the Springville Office.
Jason is an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoys serving his neighborhood and the youth of the church in various capacities. Jason loves to spend time in the outdoors: hiking, mountaineering, snowshoeing, skiing, and hunting, but his favorite leisure pursuit is riding one of his many bikes. He has completed the legendary Logan to Jackson (LOTOJA) 200 mile bike race on six different occasions. He has climbed all of the western states highest points including the famous Mt. Rainer, Mt. Whitney, and more.
He and his wife Jackie have four children: Jefferson, Jane, Jameson, and Jens. They currently reside in Spanish Fork, but Jason will always remain a loyal Springville supporter and fan. He is commited to eventually move back to Red Devil country.
Jason has served with the Chamber of Commerce for over 10 years. He has served as the chamber's president and a member of the executive committee. He is eager to serve in any capacity and wants to see local businesses succeed and thrive.
