2022 in Review

In 2022 we doubled our efforts in growing educational and networking events for our members. The chamber created additional educational series called TARGET Workshops that would help support our Lunch & Learn events. These added meetings, TARGET Workshops (Team-based learning to make Achievements in the workplace by providing needed Resources for Growth through Education to help your Thriving business), took the once-a-quarter events to monthly networking.

The Springville Library is a huge supporter of our educational series and let us use their space and labs for our events. We want to thank Springville Library for its support and for hosting the chamber for our education series. These newly added meetings brought in outstanding presenters who led discussions that included: How to use Podcast and YouTube to Attract Dream Customers, How to Improve the Revenue and Profit in Your Business, Marketing You and Your Relationship with Your Brand, Bills that Affect Development and Recent Legislative Session Topics, Open for Business Online Platform training and the Art of Speaking about Your Business.

Spotlight YOU

We want to spotlight you in our next newsletter and on social media.

The past couple of years we've explored ways to spotlight our member businesses. Leslie Jones, Mapleton City Council and board member is sponsoring this effort by using a platform that she uses in her real estate business. This platform will make it easier for business owners to tell us more about them.

Three easy questions, one simple link, at your convenience!

The three questions are (one question per slide):

What do you do?
Why Springville or Mapleton?
Why did you join the Chamber?

Here is the link:

Your response will be posted on our Chamber social media channels and written up in our newsletter. Pleasae let us know if you have any questions.

Welcome New Board of Directors

We want to thank our outgoing board members Jason Packard and Kyle Marshall and wish them all the luck in their new endeavors.
Thank you to everyone who applied for the 2023 board positions. It was hard narrowing it down to only 2 spots because we had many amazing applicants.
We would like to welcome Mary Ann Eyres, Nebo Credit Union and Russell Moss, Central Bank to the board of directors.

2023 Year Calendar

As we begin a new year, we have made a few adjustments after reviewing attendees' surveys. Afternoons are the most convenient time for most participants, so starting February 14th, our TARGET Workshops will be held at NOON.

We have been so privileged to gather at the library for our morning workshops and Lunch & Learns, but with scheduling, we are moving back to the multipurpose room at Springville Civic Center this year. We hope you have all enjoyed gathering at the library and encourage you to get more involved in library events. Springville Library continues to amaze us with all they do to support the city, community, and businesses. There are many opportunities for companies to get involved with the library, sponsor events and programs, and utilize the library services, https://www.springville.org/library/.

The magazine listing is a significant benefit of your membership, so ensure your account is current to guarantee your listing is in the magazine's directory.
