The Springville Holiday Festival & Santa Village was a hit as they began the celebration by welcoming Santa and turning on the Christmas lights at the Civic Center Park on December 1st. Mountain West Animal Hospital brought Santa's reindeer to help ring in the festivities. Santa will be making appearances until Monday, December 11th. Mark your calendars for the 2nd Mapleton City Public Safety Night, Tuesday, February 6th from 7-8:30PM at the Mapleton City Building. During this time they will bring in an expert, Steve McCown, to teach the community how to protect their homes and businesses to prevent fraud and how to be safe in the digital world. The Chamber had the privilege of celebrating with Springville Public Art, the art board, city council, citizens and the artist at the unveiling of the beautiful mural painted by artist Chuck Berrett at Charisma Dance Studio on Saturday, December 2nd.
