Scone Booth: Volunteers Needed

It's Art City Days this week, which means the Springville Kiwanis Club will be selling delicious scones again. The club is in need of a few more volunteers to help cook and serve scones. If you'd like to help out, please go to the JustServe website, locate the Scone Booth, and click on the volunteer button. All proceeds go to support the youth and children of Springville.

All sales at the the Scone Booth support the annual Sub-for-Santa Food Drive, scholarships, Headstart, and the Children's Art Festival.

July 13th-20th

Mapleton's 2024 Pioneer Days planning is in full swing. The Pioneer Days is a week-long celebration that includes sports tournaments, historical programs, a parade, 5K, park activities, helicopter ping pong drop, live entertainment, and a firework show.

Community Health and Resource Coordinator

Springville Library is hiring for a Community Health and Resource Coordinator!

Community Health and Resource Coordinator role:
A dedicated professional committed to enhancing the mental health and wellness of Springville City residents. This individual will excel in developing, coordinating, and administering activities, programs, and resources that foster positive, healthy habits. Working closely with city leaders, various city departments, community partners, and volunteers, they will drive initiatives that promote better mental health outcomes. Adept at evaluating the effectiveness of wellness programs, strategies, and policies, ensuring they serve the needs of both youth and adults in our community.
If you know someone who is passionate about community health and eager to make a meaningful impact, have them APPLY.

9/11 Day of Service

Volunteers Needed

The 9/11 Day of Service planning committee has been meeting to discuss different opportunities to serve this coming September during the 9/11 Day of Service recognition. If you would like to participate and join the committee at their next planning meeting email info@springvillemapletonchamber.org. 
 


The 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance was officially recognized by Congress in 2009. Congress “encourages all to volunteer, support charities, and perform other good deeds and acts of kindness that help others in the spirit of remembrance, unity, and service.”
