A Perfect Evening at the Chamber Member & Family BBQ
We had an incredible turnout at this year’s Chamber Member & Family BBQ! The weather couldn’t have been better, and the location was the perfect setting for an evening of connection and community.
A big thank you to Mapleton City for providing the beautiful park space and hosting the cornhole competition. And of course, our gratitude goes to R&R BBQ for serving up another amazing meal and to Zeppes for topping it all off with their delicious Italian Ice. Congratulations to our cornhole winners—we loved seeing the friendly competition and hope everyone had as much fun as we did!
It was also a pleasure spending the evening with our Springville Citizen of the Year, Charles Nackos, and our Business of the Year, Dale Peterson Auto Body Shop. Celebrating together made the night even more special.
As we look ahead, we still have a few more exciting events this year:
- Safe Halloween
- Battle of the Pizzas
- Noon Networking:
- September – hosted by
Mountainland Technical College
- October – tour of Rocky Mountain University Clinics to learn how they support our businesses and employees
We hope to see you at one (or all!) of these upcoming events. Make sure to register and join us in keeping the momentum going!

In its third year, Utah's 100 Companies Championing Women initiative recognizes organizations—including businesses, nonprofits, and cities—with 10+ employees that are actively supporting women through family-friendly policies (such as flexible schedules and remote work) and women-specific initiatives (like maternity leave and women in leadership).
They invite you to apply and be recognized for your efforts

Let’s recognize and uplift organizations that are helping women thrive in the workplace!
Rocky Mountain University
Did you know that Rocky Mountain University is more than an institution of higher education? They have a variety of departments that are active teaching clinics for the public. Their clinics serve two functions: Serving the community and providing opportunities for their students to get more hands-on experiences with actual patients who need care.
Join us at the October 14th Noon Networking as we gather at RMU to learn more about their clinics and how they can benefit your business and employees. Space is limited to REGISTER early and only if you know you are able to attend.
