This is a joint effort between the American Legion Sylvester Post 335 and Men United Sylvester Lodge 01. It is their wish to provide a meal for the elderly and those less fortunate in our community. They will be distributing up to 400 meals at 12 pm on Dec. 18th! These meals will be ready for pick up at the Shipp Center at that time. There is no cost for the recipients! The Sylvester Police Department will be delivering to the elderly and those who are confined to their homes. They would like to thank the local businesses that have come together to help make this event happen!

2. If you would like to help with the food packaging and distribution, please let them know! If everyone shows up, they will be in good shape!

The Sylvester Worth County Chamber is holding a 50/50 Raffle and we will pull the winners ticket on December 17, 2021.  We are selling 1,000 tickets at $20.00 each.  Any person that purchases 10 tickets will receive 1 free ticket.  

We are asking you to HELP us make it to $20,000 and receive a chance to win $10,000.00.  There will be only one drawing and the lucky winner will take home half the money we have collected up to $20,000.00, as of December 16, 2021 (extended from December 10).  We have a little over 3 weeks to make it happen and want your help!!  Please spread the word among your fellow workers and share in your social media.  If you would like to help us sell tickets please give us at call at 229-776-7718.
