Leadership Worth
Leadership Worth held its March meeting on March 8th at the Poulan Council Chamber. The facilitator of this class was Mrs. Mandy Gordon from Phoebe Worth, assisting Karen Singletary, Main Street Director, City of Sylvester. The focus of this class was group decision-making.
After the class, the group took a tour of the Poulan Council Chamber, the Poulan Police Department, Poulan’s Little Library, and Scales & Systems Automation.
Lunch was served by Ed’s Truck Stop!
Leadership Worth would like to thank our supporters of the program. The Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce, Worth County Economic Development Authority, and The City of Sylvester. We would also like to thank the City of Poulan for their hospitality and Scales Systems and Automation for the tour of the facility.

50/50 Raffle
We are so excited to kick off the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 50/50 Raffle!
Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who participated in last year’s raffle! It is due to this participation that the Chamber will be able to provide scholarships to six Worth County High School CTAE 2022 graduates! We would like to be able to provide even more scholarships via this year’s raffle!
Just like last year’s raffle, we will be hoping to reach a goal of $20,000! That means one person will win up to $10,000! Our portion of the raffle will go to CTAE scholarships at Worth County High School and as well as going back into our Shop Local program! The tickets will be $20 apiece and will be sold from now to December 15th, 2022! The tickets can be purchased at the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce!
