On Monday, March 28th, 2022 The Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce hosted a Lunch & Learn: Get Your Business Online with Google Search & Maps. This class was facilitated by Rob Martin with the University of Georgia’s Small Business Development Center. This course introduced Google's free Business Profile which helps your business stand out on Google Search & Maps. The class also explored communicating how you may be doing business a little differently right now as well as the importance of keeping your listing current with all your business details.Mr. Rob showed our attendees how they could "own their own real estate online" so to speak and be the 1st to pop up in a Google search.

 

Learner Outcomes Included:

• Update your profile with current hours,

address, and phone number.

• Post photos, offers, and news directly on your Business Profile to catch attention.

• See your followers from Google Maps.

• Respond to customer reviews to build

credibility and loyalty.

• Explore Insights to see how customers

find & engage with your Business Profile.

We are so excited to kick off the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce’s 2022 50/50 Raffle! 

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who participated in last year’s raffle! It is due to this participation that the Chamber will be able to provide scholarships to six Worth County High School CTAE 2022 graduates! We would like to be able to provide even more scholarships via this year’s raffle! 

Just like last year’s raffle, we will be hoping to reach a goal of $20,000! That means one person will win up to $10,000! Our portion of the raffle will go to CTAE scholarships at Worth County High School and as well as going back into our Shop Local program! The tickets will be $20 apiece and will be sold from now to December 15th, 2022! The tickets can be purchased at the Sylvester-Worth County Chamber of Commerce!
