April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month Ruth's Cottage and Patticake House need your help in advocating for and raising awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Ruth's Cottage will be passing out stickers that say, "Believe Survivors, Educate Youth, Practice Consent, End Rape Culture" to local businesses in the area. They will also be holding a "What Were You Wearing?" exhibit to help end the victim-blaming myth that clothing somehow invites a sexual assault. We must all work together as a community to serve and support our children and families. Give your name and your support to End the Cycle of Foster Care. First Baptist Church Sylvester Preschool accepts children on a first come basis. It is open to all regardless of sex, race, color, national origin, or religion. Registration is now open for the 2024-2025 preschool year. There are classes for 2's, 3's, and 4's. The child must be 2, 3, or 4 years of age by September 1, 2024.
