April is Sexual Assault Awareness and Child Abuse Prevention Month

Ruth's Cottage and Patticake House need your help in advocating for and raising awareness for Sexual Assault Awareness Month and National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Ruth's Cottage will be passing out stickers that say, "Believe Survivors, Educate Youth, Practice Consent, End Rape Culture" to local businesses in the area. They will also be holding a "What Were You Wearing?" exhibit to help end the victim-blaming myth that clothing somehow invites a sexual assault.
For more information on the stickers and exhibit, please click here

The Patticake House is asking for everyone to stand up this month for all children and show your support in one of the following ways:

Race to End the Cycle

The Race to End the Cycle is a fun obstacle race and fundraiser for Called to Care, but most importantly, it's a chance to raise awareness and community support for children and teens in foster care. We must all work together as a community to serve and support our children and families.

Give your name and your support to End the Cycle of Foster Care.
