About Insure Forward
Insure Forward
Insure Forward, formerly known as Security State Bank of Hannaford, has a rich history that dates back to 1927 when A.C. Brown founded the small bank with just $25,000 in assets. Over the years, three generations of the Brown family have provided leadership within the organization, with a strong commitment to serving their customers and community.
In 1991, the organization expanded across North Dakota and changed its name to Security State Bank of North Dakota to reflect its growth outside of Hannaford. In 2000, the Brown family established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) to expand ownership to valued employees, resulting in over 40% ownership being held by employee-owners today.
As the organization continued to grow and expand into Minnesota, it changed its name once again in 2007 to Bank Forward. This expansion also led to the addition of insurance, tax, and investment services as part of their offerings.
In 2012, the Forward Foundation was established as a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing children's lives in the communities they serve. To date, over $1 million has been donated to families and organizations to positively impact children's lives.
Despite these changes over time, Insure Forward remains committed to their founder's simple formula for success: "Take care of the customer!" This promise has been upheld for over 90 years and continues to be at the core of their mission.
At Insure Forward, our mission is rooted in our commitment to providing financial and insurance solutions for tomorrow, not just for today. By doing so, we aim to help our customers, employees, and community "fast forward" towards achieving their life goals.
With a strong foundation built on integrity and customer care since 1927, Insure Forward is dedicated to continuing this legacy while looking ahead toward a future filled with opportunities for growth and service excellence.
