City Council Passes Legislation to Develop “River Terrace Annexation District,” Offices Along River Road

Just last week, the Tucson City council voted unanimously to approve the zoning for the development of the “River Terrace Annexation District,” an office development that is set to be an extension of the “River Kino Annexation District,” along River Road in the North side of Tucson.

The development will be 9.88 acres, where former residencies are set to be leveled to make way for the development of office buildings and spaces near the intersection of River Road and Hacienda Del Sol. The project wants to revitalize the area into a semi-urban space that connects offices and stores to surrounding neighborhoods, and the nearby Chuck Huckleberry Loop Trail.

The City council has yet to announce when development construction is set to continue.
