The Georgia-Alabama Land Trust is a non-profit 501(c)(3) conservation organization dedicated to protecting land for present and future generations. We do this primarily by guiding and supporting private landowners who wish to establish conservation easements on their property. The landowners we work with come from all walks of life. Family farmers, real estate developers and even the US Government are our clients.
We have assembled a team of dedicated, dynamic people who are committed to environmental protection. Each of our staff members has a specific knowledge base or skill set that enables them to perform many of the complicated tasks involved in evaluating land and crafting conservation easements that will protect a landowner’s property for generations to come.
Our accreditation with the Land Trust Alliance ensures that we conduct our business with the highest level of integrity and professionalism. As an organization with origins in 1996, we have established a successful record of achieving our objectives for over 20 years and plan to tirelessly continue our work into the future.
