Built by E.R. Barber, Coca-Cola bottling manufacturer and inventor, in 1915. Designed by architect, Lloyd B. Greer in the Neo-classical style. Bequeathed to Valdosta citizens by Mrs. Ola Barber Pittman and restored by local architects and the Valdosta Junior Woman's Club in 1979, is currently the home of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce. Visitors welcomed: M-F, 8:30am-5pm. Listed on The National Register of Historic Places February 12, 1987.
Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce will lead economic growth in our regional area, creating a community that is entrepreneurial, open to change and fully integrated with other institutions to improve education/quality of life for all.
The mission of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce is to serve as the unifying force and focal point for enhancing the economic, social and cultural well-being of the regional community it serves. The Chamber shall seek to accomplish its mission by being the voice for business within the community; by addressing economic, political and quality of life issues; and through a selective program of work to achieve attainable community goals.
