Bike Buddies
Bike Buddies have been created to fill a need that was brought up in our coach/volunteer meeting for
Kids Bike League. We don't have nearly enough coaches or helpers for Kids Bike League and now see that the program will be best executed if we have a 1-to-1 ratio of kids to coaches. Bike Buddies will be paired one-on-one with a child age 2 to 10-years-old who needs to learn how to ride a bike. Bike Buddies don't have to be bike riding experts, they just need to have a willing heart and be physically able to help balance a bike (bend over to hold a bike seat) for a child.
Here are the dates for Kids Bike League, which will be held at the Sandersville School Building (514 North Harris Street, Sandersville, Ga):
Thursday, June 20: 5:30 - 6:30
Monday, June 24: 5:30 - 6:30
Thursday, June 27: 5:30 - 6:30
Monday, July 1: 5:30 - 6:30 (splash pad party- buddies not required)
Thursday, July 4: no practice
Monday, July 8: 5:30 - 6:30
Thursday, July 11: 5:30 - 6:30
Monday, July 15: 5:30 - 6:30
Thursday, July 18: 5:30 - 6:30
