We have to be very creative and innovative with our programming, while continuing to see the public. We are still collecting soil, plant and water samples with accessible bins placed in front of the office with instruction. If you have any questions, please call us today at 478.552.2011.

Summer Reading Program

2020 Census

Washington County Census Response Rate :   47.3%

Remember to participate in the 2020 Census to help update this number so that Washington County receives proper funding and representation for the future!

To learn more, click here!

Our local Complete Counts Committee is asking all industry leadership to PLEASE provide a 10 minute opportunity for employees to fill out their Census form, whether online or by phone. They can go to www.my2020census.gov or call 844-330-2020 (Spanish translators available).

They only need to provide their address to get started. The entire form is 9 questions long. Every person counted brings in an estimated $2,300 annually to Washington County based on our 2010 Census data, meaning a family of 5 adds over $100,000 in federal funding for Washington County. With the current response rate we are set to lose 248 MILLION dollars in funding over the next ten years.
