For P.I. No. 0015878
Washington County
In keeping with Governor Brian Kemp’s directive to keep state government agencies functioning as Georgia combats the COVID-19 pandemic, Georgia Department of Transportation (DOT) is moving forward by placing project information for review and feedback into an internet platform to comply with social distancing and avoiding crowds of 10+ people. We appreciate your participation in this process.
(date)The Georgia DOT has posted project information for State Route (SR) 24 from east of Chambers Brooks Spring Road to west of Helton Lane (PI# 0015878) at
http://www.dot.ga.gov/AboutGDOT/PublicOutreach .
This project proposes to widen a portion of SR 24 to a 4-lane rural section with two 12-foot lanes in each direction from east of Chambers Brook Spring Road to west of Helton Lane.
The purpose of this internet posting is to replace an in-person meeting, while allowing the public to review the proposed project, provide feedback, or write in with questions.

With the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, The Washington County Extension / 4-H office is limited access by appointment only. We have to be very creative and innovative with our programming, while continuing to see the public. We are still collecting soil, plant and water samples with accessible bins placed in front of the office with instruction. If you have any questions, please call us today at 478.552.2011.
