STAR Students & Teachers

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the STAR Students and STAR Teachers for 2022. Help us give the recipients a warm congratulations on this honor!

The Chamber has recognized many STARS over the years and we are proud to add Cameran and Libby to the prestigious list. They have selected Mrs. Brooker and Mrs. Brantley as their STAR Teachers.

The County STAR Student will be announced in the coming weeks at the local STAR event.

The PAGE Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program is sponsored, administered and promoted by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) and the PAGE Foundation. Since its creation, the STAR program has honored nearly 28,000 students and the teachers they have selected as the most influential to their academic achievement. High school seniors must have the highest score on a single test date on the SAT and be in the top 10 percent or top 10 students of their class based on grade point average to qualify for STAR nomination.

For more information, visit our their at www.pageinc.org.
