Washington County High School Golden Hawks Soar into Education with Georgia Military College Bulldogs

A beautiful school with personable staff and excited students, Washington County High School is impressive by many standards. Georgia Military College’s Main Campus had the opportunity to assist the school’s senior class apply to college. In doing so, students learned about the academic programs offered at GMC, learned about the opportunities provided in the GMC Corps of Cadets, and discovered various pathways to four-year institutions through GMC’s 50+ articulation agreements. Younger students were also able to apply for GMC’s dual enrollment program and be coached on strategic ways to use this opportunity to begin their college career.

“Washington County High School is extremely thankful for our partnership with Georgia Military College. It is incredibly important that each one of our students knows about the opportunities that are available to them. Events like this, give our students multiple paths to their own individual success,” Dr. Darryl Gilbert, Principal, stated.

With GMC’s Main Campus now actively engaging in Sandersville, Washington County High School students will have access to an even larger group of support services and campus life activities. For these students, no matter which college or career path they take, they know that they always have a home at Georgia Military College.
