2026 SBWC Regional Educational Series: “Bridging the Gap – Workers’ Compensation in a New Era.”

This four-city seminar series will bring together professionals from across Georgia’s workers’ compensation community to explore timely topics, share insights, and strengthen collaboration across industries.

Event Dates & Locations:

  • April 15 – Lake Lanier Boathouse - Gainesville 
  • April 22 – UGA Tifton Conference Campus - Tifton
  • April 27 – Savoy Automobile Museum - Cartersville
  • May 6 – Savannah Convention Center - Savannah

Each seminar will feature timely; thought-provoking sessions designed to inform and inspire:

  • The State of the Board
    Legislative updates and Board initiatives from Chairman Ben Vinson.
  • Hope in Motion
    Supporting the children of Georgia’s injured workers through Kids’ Chance.
  • Legal Bridges
    Key case law decisions shaping the future of workers’ compensation.
  • Bridges, Bottlenecks, and Breakthroughs
    Panel discussion on emerging challenges: undocumented workers, AI, aging workforce, FMLA overlap, and more.
  • Modern Medicine
    Navigating post-pandemic realities with pre-pandemic rules.
  • Bridging Stakeholder Interests
    Collaborative strategies for aligning diverse perspectives in workers’ compensation claims.

Registration Opens December 1st
Registration to attend a seminar is $100 per person until April 1st. After April 1st the cost will increase to $125. To register for this event, visit the registration portal. For more details, you can visit www.sbwc.georgia.gov.
