Restaurants & Food Establishments-BE PREPARED!
Chamber Takes Pro-active Roll To Assist Members
Hello Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber Member Restaurants and Food Establishments:
In a effort to provide and prepare our member restaurants' with a suitable water resources to continue to operate your restaurants within health department standards during a "do not drink ban" as we had several weeks ago, we have reached out to area water suppliers and have been successful with Culligan water out of Napoleon. Culligan Water out of Napoleon can deliver bottled 5 and 3 gallons of water to businesses with NO contracts. Contact the Chamber for their pricing sheet to review. Your contact at Culligan is Kim Franz and her number is 1-800-322-6849. As I work on receiving any other suppliers information, I will be sure to pass it on to all of you.
Also, if you have a soda machine, ice machine, dishwasher, etc. its a great idea to reach out to those vendors and purchase back-up filters to ensure that you will not have a long wait to get your filters replaced in the event that this happens again. I know that Pepsi and Coke do stock them locally if you ask your sales rep.
Have a plan in place for you, your staff and most importantly your customers, who are the lifeline of our businesses and will continue to support you if they know you are operating within safe conditions.
The Chamber realizes the impact that this has had on your business and we do have a partner who offers micro-enterprise loans for operating your business through ECDI to assist with working capital if you may have that need as we are already helping a few of you currently. You should also speak with one of our member banks or financial instutions for assistance which our list can be found here.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach me.
Onward;

Register Now- Classes Start October 3rd.
The Anthony Wayne Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Candidate Academy is a NON-PARTISAN program designed for individuals considering a run for local, county, regional, and state public office.
The purpose of the Chamber’s Candidate Academy is to educate community members within the Anthony Wayne area on all the various components and the sometimes harsh realities of a political campaign.
The goals of this academy are:
- To provide a valuable resource of information to individuals within the Anthony Wayne region contemplating a political career.
- To assemble leaders within the Anthony Wayne community to reveal insights and ideas on how to run a successful campaign for public office.
The Candidate Academy is a three-evening seminar course designed for individuals considering running for all levels of public office. Each session educates potential political candidates on exactly what it takes to stage a campaign
for public office.
The three week class is non-partisan, informational only and does not in any way ensure that the Chamber will endorse you for public office.
Each week’s session will be comprised of a topic area where the speakers will make presentations with a question and answer at the end of the presentation.
Each speaker will provide the Academy participants with
hand-outs and/or other materials critical to the evening’s topic, as necessary.
